Questions
Straight answers.
The questions people ask first, answered the way I would answer them on a call.
Am I techy enough?
If you can copy clips to your computer and press a button, yes. The first time, it walks you through every step with practice clips. Claude installs what it needs after you say yes.
Will it still look like me?
It is your face, your words and your product. If your style is one raw take, say so, and it keeps it raw. You have the last word on every video.
What do I need?
A Windows PC and the Claude desktop app on a paid Claude plan. Claude does the editing on your computer, and ClipsCaddy is what teaches it how.
How long does one video take?
A build takes a few minutes on a recent laptop. Your first video usually takes two or three rounds while you tell it what you like.
What happens to my videos?
Your video files stay on your computer. Claude reads your words and looks at frames from your clips so it can edit, under your own Claude account.
What if I already filmed?
Drop the clips in. It tells you what you have, what would make it stronger, and builds with what you have if you ask.
What if my clips have no talking?
It asks if you want to add a voiceover before or after the first cut, or it builds to the sounds and the text on screen.
Can I cut to a song?
Yes, with a track you have the rights to. If it is a sound you add in the app when you post, your cuts still line up.
Who posts it?
You do, from the app, so the caption, the cover and the disclosure toggle stay yours. It hands you the finished video and a caption to start from.
What does it cost to run?
The kit is one payment. Claude runs on your own paid Claude plan from Anthropic.
What if I get stuck?
Tell Claude what you see, in your own words. Early access members also get answers from me directly.
Will it get me views?
Nobody can promise views. It gives you a video that is cut well and follows each app's rules, every time, so you can post more often.
